Essie Jain is Great!, November 16, 2009

I had picked up Essie Jain's CD, "We Made This Ourselves" on a whim. I have a weakness for great female voices and acoustic music. Essie Jain fit the bill. Not being able to get enough of her from the one CD, I ordered "The Inbetween", and boy, am I not disappointed! I can't say I like one of the two CDs better than the other. I think of them as being played in unison and that's the way they show up in my iPod playlist, and that's the way I put them into my home and car CD changers.
I've sold my daughter on Essie Jain as well as a good friend. They both have a love for unique female vocals and acoustic music, as well. We all agree that Essie Jain is one of the greatest undiscovered talents in the music business. It shouldn't take too long to move her from undiscovered to hugely popular. Especially if the public at large gets a listen to these two CDs.
