It smells like cedar, very little to argue about there. The smell isn't as overpowering as others I have tried and lingers for a small time, It reminds me of a cedar forest.

There are three points I would like to bring up, first of all their size. They are much smaller than expected. If you don't have a ruler available put $1.25 in quarters side to side and you have around the size of a stick. Second, while being heavily advertised as made in Japan both on the Internet and on the box, a quick look at the side of the packaging will say otherwise. And finally I want bring up a point another reviewer did, their breakability. While they are easily breakable with a little force they are far from fragile. There should be no problem putting them into a holder. All around it is a good product.
