Best incense on the market,
Don't bother with any kind of incense you find at any local store, cause you can be sure they won't be carrying this stuff. Nippon Kodo is probably the best kind of incense you can purchase for multiple reasons.
Burns cleaner. Yep, it's pure incense and not some batter-dipped stick, so all you get is a great smell in your room. The incense I used to burn was batter-dipped and it always smelled more of burning wood than of the incense itself. Lasts long. The sticks aren't that long at all, but they still last a good 20-30 minutes. Not only that, but it's powerful smell so you won't have to use 2 at a time or anything. Price. Even after the cost of shipping, it's still really cheap for a 50 stick box. There's really no reason for you to not try out this incense if you are just getting into burning incense, or have already been doing it a while. I'd say this is the best incense on the market right now, and after giving it a shot, I bet you'll say the same.

Sometimes you just wanna tape a stick of it under your nose...,
By Don't believe me? Here's proof. Back when I was a wee lad at the age of 8, I went to a friend's house whose parents burnt Sandalwood religiously, so when you walked in the smell just hit you. I swore, from that point on, that when I got a place of my own I'd burn those incense. A decade later, I held true to that notion. Point is, I went for years upon years with never smelling it again, but I still remembered how good it smelled. You know you've got a great product on your hands when it can leave that much of an impression on you. To this day, I still maintain that Sandalwood is one of my favorite smells of all time. Past that little history lesson, as you've clearly learned by reading other reviews, Morning Star makes high quality incense. The smell lingers long after the stick is done burning, and what's more, they're cheap. Don't waste your time on rip-offs, go for the good stuff, my friend.

Don't Judge by Size,
By VIKKI "Vikki" (Dousman, WI United States) - See all my reviews the past. So don't judge this item by it's size. Good things can come in small packages. Vikki

Unmatched in customer service/ satisfaction!!!!!!,
By First off, this merchant issued a partial refund to my account as they felt I was charged too much for shipping charges. Now keep in mind that I did NOT even ask for this credit/refund. They just did it because they're honest/ solid/ awesome human beings! Now, as far as the product goes, I ordered Morning Star Green Tea 50 Sticks and Morning Star Sandalwood Incense (50 Sticks)... Both superb! They also sent some samplers and all of those were superb as well. Top-notch! ALSO, a personalized thank you! They went this far out of their way for my puny little $4 order... Incredible merchant, top-notch product... I can't say enough great things about them! I will only buy my incense from this seller from now on. Thank you World-Incense! You're THE best!

NOT MADE IN JAPAN AS SPECIFIED,

I chose this product because it specifically listed Japan as the country of origin. When I received it, there was a sticker that was conveniently placed over the "Made in Hong Kong" text.
The order was also delivered late and since this was a gift, I had no choice but to give it away since I received it the night before I needed it. If I had a choice, I would have returned it. If you want real Japanese incense that is made in Japan, do not order these!

best sandalwood scent ever!,

For serious, I love this incense. I open the box and I can smell the sandalwood. It's a pleasant traditional scent, but it does not overpower the room nor is it usually smoky (I have run across a few smoky ones in the box, but those are rare). However, what makes this worth it is that it is small; a little over four inches. It burns for about twenty minutes, which is a good since it fills the room and trickles into the rest of the house without being disturbing. This is not your sandy batter dipped incense sticks, this is the stuff you want to get. The price is affordable. The scent is clean and real, but not overpowering. It lacks the stereotypical smokiness. Its small size is convenient if you're on the go. The burn time is great considering its size also. This is THE incense. I also would recommend Iris (I'm not big on floral scents but Iris really appeals to me) and Green Tea scents as well.

i bought this as my first foray into incense because, 1) it was inexpensive, and 2) it included a stand so i wouldn't have to buy one and invest too much money.
simply, it lives up to its expectations. it burns as advertised for 25min; all incense and no stick. it smells nicely like sandalwood and not too smoky when burning, doing so without being overly spicy. the perfume of one burning is more than enough to fill my bedroom. i'm not sure if it's my nose acclimating to the smell, or just the perfume dissipating with the smoke, but the sandalwood smell doesn't linger very long after the incense is through burning. if/when i buy again though, i'll probably buy the 200ct package because it's a better deal.

Nice scent but not up to par with others,

This are mini incense sticks and they burn for about 5 minutes. The fragrance is fine but these just don't have the impact of other brands like Gonesh.

I love these incense! These are awesome but they produce a heck of a lot of smoke so i guess if you're burning it in a room you're not sitting in, it's not so bad. The smell is wonderful for sandalwood lovers.
