My only real gripe about this cover, the reason why it's not 4 or 5 stars is that the area covering the power button at the top is way too stiff. It usually takes me 3-4 tries of really hard pushing to access the power button. The fiance almost broke a nail turning the screen on. I'm not sure how long I'll be able to tolerate this over time. We'll have to see.

Update: So it turns out the part of the case that covers the power button isn't too stiff, it's just too high. I was able to fix this by putting a tiny folded piece of paper in there. Obviously it would have been more ideal if Incipio had gotten this right from the start, but the fix gets the job done and it's an otherwise great case
Cons: The color on amazon is not true color. Go to incipio.com to see a truer picture of the case's color (better price on amazon though). The "teal green" is definitely more green than teal. Not a bad color, but you may want to look at incipio's website to double check that you like the color.
The fit is perfect and despite offering decent protection, it's very slim. Overall thickness is similar to the official Apple bumpers for the iPhone 4 (so not as thin as an iPhone 5 bumper, but still very thin). The subtle design on the back adds some texture and grip while adding a nice but not ostentatious embellishment to the phone.
Overall very pleased.
I'm the type of person who does a fair amount of research when purchasing an item, regardless of what the item is or the price. I like to compare products as well as sellers to make sure that I'd be satisfied with my decision.
After reading many reviews on Amazon for the Incipio Frequency for the iPhone 5 and Incipio NGP for the iPhone 5, I went with the Frequency. However, I kept seeing complaints of very stiff or even non-functioning lock/power button when case is put on. Others wrote that it had "sharp edges" on the bottom which was uncomfortable or even painful to the user.
Regarding the Incipio Frequency (not NGP because I have not purchased the NGP for the iPhone 5):
I know this may sound ridiculous, but this is my theory. Almost all the complaints of stiff lock buttons & sharp edges came from users who purchased the "Obsidian Black" color. Almost all reviews from those who purchased the "Royal Purple" color did not seem to have these problems, and seemed fairly satisfied with their purchase. Even though I wanted the Obsidian Black, I did not want to risk running into these complaints, so I went ahead and purchased the "Royal Purple" color.
I received the item, I felt the edges on all sides of the case (especially the bottom), and felt no problems of "sharp edges". Then, I put my iPhone 5S in my case, and immediately tested the lock button.Read more ›
For its lack of weight, its comfort, its smooth but soft feel, its price, and the fun colors, I give this case 5 stars.
One last comment (I should have learned from my iPad case review), this case is very easy to put on and remove. Many of the other cases were not easy to take off at all. High marks here!

This is a very nice case, fits my iPhone 5 just great. I haven't dropped the phone yet, so I can't speak to that. Very thin, buttons work well in the case. Read morePublished 1 month ago by Cecilia

I drop my phone an average of once every other day. With this case, you can't tell I'm a klutz. Out of the case, it still looks like new after two years of abuse. Read morePublished 3 months ago by H. Denghel
