Incipio Z-127 Leather Kickstand Case for Zune 80 GB (Black)
This is the first case I've purchased for my 80GB Zune.
Pros:
1. Nice looking black leather case.
2. Plastic insert protects the display.
3. Kickstand flap is a nice option for viewing the Zune video display without having to hold the device.
4. Easy access to all the Zune controls and inputs.
5. Two leather strips at the bottom of the case to hold the Zune in, if you are holding the case straight up <see CON>. These strips also allow access to Zune input.

Big Con: This case has an open slot for sliding the Zune into. Although the case fits the Zune well, it's not quite snug enough. I was holding my case/Zune the other day with what I thought was a decent grip, but the Zune flung out of this opening. The top of my Zune is now scratched from hitting the floor (someone hand me a tissue). This case would have been perfect if Incipio had added an elastic strip or some sort of catch on this opening as a safety to keep the Zune from flinging out.

This case is well built, looks good, kinda bulky. When you think of it as protection it is impractical. The Zune slides in from the top, nothing keeps it inside. Several times as I am just carrying it around the house I tilt my hand the wrong way and SLAM my 250 dollar Zune hits the floor. I would love to give this a perfect score, but since I bought it for protection it fails miserably. All they had to do was add a strap on the top to hold the Zune in and this would be a perfect product. Do not buy this if you do anything active while carrying your Zune it WILL hit the deck.

I liked the idea of having a "kickstand" so I ordered this case. Like a few reviewers, my zune doesn't fit quite snug enough. It's not a big problem, but keeps it from 5 stars. It works like you'd expect. A tri-fold design to allow protection as well a stand for your zune. It would have been an awesome product if there was some kind pocket or velcro stap to secure some headphones with it; like a carry-all.

It protects, it's a stand, quality of the stitching isn't bad. I'm still giving it 4 stars because it does what it claims and it's functional. Just a few tweaks and this would be a 5 easy.

I've sent this one back seconds after I tried it, the Zune fell out the top of it, I want to protect my Zune, not have the possibly of it falling out and hitting the concrete floor. For those of you that want the kickstand feature, I'd either sew thread across the top or insert a rectangle piece of cardboard on the backside of the Zune to make a tight fit.

Overall, this case works excatly as you'd want it to. It holds the Zune nicely in place, has a plastic screen, and the leather has a nice feel to it. I like that when you close the case, it has a small magnet that keeps the case shut.

I needed a small gift to round out a series of gifts for my husband for Christmas, and this fit the bill well. It is a protective and stylish case that allows ease of usage even in the car with the kickstand capability. Great price for a great small gift.

Thought this case was a little bulky. Plus, with barely any use, seems as though it's coming undone at the seams. It does have a lifetime warranty though, so I guess if I wanted to go through the hassle of returning it, they would give me a new one. The silicone case I purchased from Incipio worked out much better and it's cheaper. They make good products, I just didn't love this one.

I have two of these cases, one for my 80gb zune and one for my 120gb zune; since both are the same 'form' the cases work equally well and one review will suffice. First, the cost of this case is reasonable; i paid under 15 bucks and had free shipping = deal = win! Second, the kickstand aspect is crucial - your zune will sit sideways, nicely, so you might watch a video without resorting to neck-cricking poses. Finally, the case cover and built in screen shield protect the zune during transport in your pocket or bag. This case does exactly what it should do and adds the benefit of the kickstand. I have had no problems with sizing; my zune does not slip out of this case at all. This could be due to the installed ZAGG screen shield (which i do recommend, despite the difficulty of installation). Overall, for the money and flexibility, this case is the one to buy. I might note that the case is a bit unfashionable, not made of leather, and slightly bulky - but that is why it gets 4 stars and not 5. Imperfect, yet positively useful and effective.

I use this product with my 120 GB zune. Like other reviewers said, this product could have a fit more snugly. It is prone to slip out of the case (though it hasn't happened to my zune yet, knock on wood). I also have a problem with the kickstand function of case. It does have a viewing configuration, but the viewing angle isn't optimal. The viewing angle is to steep (about 100 degrees, where 120 or 135 degrees would have been more ideal). There is glare sometimes while watching.

All in all, I like this product and works as advertised, but it could just be better at it.
