5.0 out of 5 stars Good Value
I had a hard time choosing a case for my iPod. There are just so many out there. I found the iPod to be fingerprint prone and while attractive, it was slippery as well. 3.0 out of 5 stars Protection with an annoyance
We have two 2nd gen iPod Touch units at our home and this is the third case purchased. A Griffin Nu Form cracked when removing the cover and there's a Speck case. The Incipio Silicrylic appears to offer a great deal of cushioned protection and it is grippy to hold.

I had a hard time choosing a case for my iPod. There are just so many out there. I found the iPod to be fingerprint prone and while attractive, it was slippery as well. I chose the Incipio over the others for a few reason. I wanted a case that looked good (no funky textures) and wasn't too bulky. The hard polycarbonate back is what sold me on this case over the other silicone cases.

I was a bit worried about the one star review and now that I have it, I agree instruction should have been included. I don't think it deserves one star though. The hardest part is applying the screen protector.

You will want to go to the Screen Protector's product listing to see the instructions for the Incipio Screen Protector for Apple iPod touch - 3 Pack. There is a picture with instructions on how to apply the protector there. The hardest part is getting all the air bubbles out. These are really annoying. Make sure your ipod is clean before starting. You really only have one or two tries before dust gets on the protector. I found that applying the protector from the bottom helped in getting it aligned properly. If you apply it from the top, getting the button to alight with the cut out can be a problem. Use the white plastic square to press the air out and try not to touch the sticky backing or the screen with your fingers. Work the air bubble to the side. Even after several removals, I was able to use the square to scrape the dust off from the sticky side. If the lint is small enough you might be able to still apply the protector without any air bubbles, as I did.

Hope this help the next person.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect add-on for your iTouch, January 3, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I'm always a little hesitant to purchase add-on products for a relatively new device. But This is a winner.

If you are worried about scratching or smudging your new iTouch, then this is the product you must have. For the price of less than $20 you can have a complete package, cover, case and screen protector. The siliconized back cover fits perfectly to protect the metal back of the iTouch, a snap-on plastic plastic front cover (it hooks over the corners of the iTouch, and to top it off, a plastic protector for the front of the iTouch. The system also comes with a micro-duster cloth that will keep everything looking new.

After looking around after Christmas for protective devices for my new little toy, I was disgusted at the cost of some of the protective devices. Some as high as $50 for half of the protection that Incipio offers.

Your crazy if you don't buy this product. I'd give it six stars if I could.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cool Case!, April 2, 2009

This review is from: Incipio Technologies SILICRYLIC Case for iPod touch 2G, 3G (Safety Orange) (Electronics)
I really like this case! I got it in Orange last week and love the feel. The silicone with the plastic backing is great and fits the iPod like a glove. I dig the way the hold and volume buttons are covered as well. I agree with the other reviewer that they actually feel better than without the case. I screwed up and got bubbles under the screen protector, but that was my own fault. Just be sure to wash your hands and clean the screen before you put it on. After looking at the other cases on the market, this one is a steal at $16.99. You get the silicone sleeve, the plastic backing and the screen protector all in this one package. The only down side is that it doesn't quite work with my docking station (the Altec Lansing T612). It's just thick enough to keep it from securely staying docked.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the better Silicon covers for my iPod Touch, March 28, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Have been using this silicon + hard plastic cover for about a month without issue. Seems durable and well worth the money. The hard plastic component is a great idea. I dropped my Touch while on the treadmill, no damage done...just kind of bounced. Obviously try to avoid bouncing your $300+ ipod across floors, case or no case. Good looking, fits well, seems durable. The included stand is a nice add on. Screen protector went on clean but is slowly coming off at one corner...maybe where I was holding it during application. Will buy again and will give as a gift.

My one criticism is that the case isn't very snug and this slippage results in the iPod being turned off. (A silicone nub covers the power switch.) I need to handle the iPod carefully when walking or playing a game. I've considered cutting off the silicone nub over the power switch but will probably just buy another type of case.

Hey im serious I just loved it... after trying 3 cases this fulfills all my requirements that a case should be about... and the price is just EXCELENT I would even pay more for it... just be careful placing the screen protector; no matter what brand you buy its hard to place it just be patient with it. I bought the white case, Im worried about the fact that it could get dirty in few months but well time will tell... The acrilic shell is cool, innovative and creative, helps when your expensive gadget fells plus it makes your ipod look even better than "naked" so......Go for it ^.^

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Value and Excellent Look, May 2, 2009
Loving this case! It is exactly what I needed and I am more than pleased. It was inexpensive and durable. The package comes with the case, one screen film and a little plastic "stand". Each piece snaps on the Touch quickly and easily. I have no complaints... especially when I only spent $16.99!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it!, March 10, 2009
I bought this product because my other cover kept slipping off around the edges, but I don't have that problem at all with this one since it kind of clips around the edges. I really love the look and feel of this product. Great for my new i touch.

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent, February 23, 2009
After buying this case, and seeing cases on other 2g iTouches, I'm glad I got this one. The screen protector is very hard to put on and has dust bubbles, and I think it is unnecessary, but the case is well designed. The one minor problem I have with the case is that the hole for the headphone jack is a little bit to small. I have a cable to plug my iTouch into my stereo and it is a little bit large and has trouble fitting.

Overall, though, a good purchase.

NOTE: I had my iPod lying face down on a table in this case and soda got spilled. The iPod is fine except that the home button a a tiny bit of trouble now and then. I credit this case with having saved my iPod.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great protection, November 4, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I love this case , i was first interested in getting the duroshot by Incipio instead. But ordered this one first. The silicone isn't like those thin cheap plastic one you get in the bundles which i have tried. The silicone tough for protection. The hard cases that snaps into place is great. there is a matte like finish on it so you dont see any smudges or scratched like other acrylic like products.

So far i have no dropped my ipod touch 3g but i would feel confident enough to do so on carpet or so at arms length. Concrete and pavement ehh 50/50. Its a great case and doesn't add unnecessary bulk. The silicone is beefed up in the right places for proper shock and maybe drop protection.

If you are a butter finger i would suggest getting the duroshot case like i was going to. I might get this case next when the siliocrylic case starts to fail me, but i has not so far an dont expect it to for at least a long time.
