Since purchasing my iPad 2, I have been looking for a light case to protect its back. The Incipio Feather case seems to be the right product, especially after watching the video shown here on Amazon. Today I received the product. It comes with a screen protector -- nice addition -- and the case fits very nicely on the iPad 2. I got the frosted kind in order to be able to see through the back of the iPad 2.

I am somewhat disappointed with the case. I find the video shown here very misleading. The Smart Cover does not work with the Incipio Feather correctly as the video seems to indicate. You can place the Smart Cover on the iPad 2, but it is not a tight fit if the Incipio Feather is on. In other words, the Smart Cover slides off very easily since the magnet strength is diminished by the thin plastic case. I can still use the cover, but it will likely be an annoying factor having it slide on and off easily.

This Incipio Feather for the Ipad2 fits perfectly and provides excellent protection for the back of the unit. The cover does NOT, however, work with perfectly with the Apple Smart Cover as the previous reviewer states. The Smart Cover magnets BARELY hang on to the edge of the Ipad2 due to there being no cut out in the Feather Cover to allow for direct contact with the aluminum. This prevents the Smart Cover from working as a stand for video viewing. If you try this, the Ipad2 WILL fall down. The Smart Cover will work folded in typing mode, but apply any more pressure than needed for tapping keys for typing and the smart cover will slide off. The best carrying solution for the Ipad2 with the Incipio Feather is some sort of pouch or sleeve. You will need to find something else to support the unit for typing or video viewing.

This is a pretty good cover, but as the previous reviewer said, it WILL NOT work with the smart cover. I don't know what the video reviewer is trying to pull, but it simply is not true. One star for the claim brings the whole thing down to three.
