5.0 out of 5 stars My pick for #1 record of 1998.
Eighty Mile Beach's "Inclement Weather" is the perfect mix of all things eclectic, and I can't think of a 1998 release that pleased and moved me more than this one. Beth Custer is one of the most innovative artists making music today (check out her solo album, "The Shirt I Slept In"). This is a listening treat for all occasions.

3.0 out of 5 stars "experimental folk-jazz"?
I don't really know how to decribe this one, but I like it. There are times when some of the tracks seem like noodly filler, but others are a soothing chill out blend of female vocals, synthy keyboards and percussion, and clarinet. I fully expect great(er) things from this duo in the future...

5.0 out of 5 stars Very listenable, July 1, 2002
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

I discovered it on an eclectic Internet radio station and ordered it on the strength of one track. I wasn't disappointed. I've listened to my copy more times and I can count and still enjoy the quirky, innovative music. I almost bought a diggerydoo because of it.

5.0 out of 5 stars a favorite, February 17, 2008

There are four good tracks on this, including "There are no right angles in nature" which is now on my all time favorites list. Really trippy. available on MP3.

Profoundly worthless. Couldn't get any cd stores to buy it back.. Save yourself the time and buy the real thing like Portishead or Baxter
