After just over a year, I lost the hard drive on my MacBook 13" to the dreaded "click of death". I'n not sure that the heat generated by the Mac had anything to do with it but, I'm sure, it didn't help. Luckily, my Time Capsule had been doing its job faithfully and a day and a half later, new hard drive installed and restored, I was back in business. Anyone who has a MacBook, particularly an aluminum one, has noticed how hot they run when sitting flat on a surface. That's what originally prompted me to buy this stand and it does a beautiful job of allowing circulation underneath from all ends including through the 3 ventilation slots on the short ends. I like that it can be set in a flat or angled configuration - I use both depending on the location. Fit and finish is flawless, all corners and slots with rounded edges, smooth acting hinges, and a bead-blasted finish that matches my MacBook perfectly. The only downside is that it can be flexed relatively easily, so be careful not to lean on it as you carry it or you will have to give it a twist to keep it from rocking when you type. I have a compact Waterfield case for my Mac. The stand will not fit within the case but fits securely under the Velcro case closure and adds practically nothing to the overall weight. Absolutely no regrets in this purchase.

Though this product is a little expensive, I've glad I made the purchase. I don't understand why so many chill pads are made so cheaply- I hate to trust a 12 dollar product to protect my 1700 dollar investment. The design matches my macbook pro perfectly, it's extremely light weight, and I would buy it again.

I travel significantly for work and have to use my laptop for long hours. I have been searching for an easy to use, light laptop stand. The InclinePro is incredibly light and can fold up easily for my laptop case. On top of that, it is very strong. It's a beautiful accompaniment to my Macbook Pro. I highly recommend it.

I do own one of these, for the 15" MBP and it is great. It's actually made out of aerospace-grade aluminum (essentially a titanium blend), and hand assembled in the United States of America. You can stand on the thing without it bending or breaking. It's also ridiculously light. One thing I love about it is that you can put it in the same case as your laptop because it's so thin and the lifted portion folds in. It is by far better than the iRain or any other MacBook (Pro) stand you can get.
