5 out of 5! Incognito overbalances other works and should be added to every erotic reader s library today. --Night Owl Romance --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

About the Author

I became addicted to words at an early age. I began reading when I was four. I wrote my first story at five years old and my first poem at seven. Since then, I've written plays, tutorials, marketing brochures, software specifications, self-help books, press releases, a five-hundred page dissertation, and of course, erotica. I'm the author of four erotic novels and two short story collections. I also edited the ground breaking anthology SACRED EXCHANGE, which explores the spiritual aspects of BDSM relationships, and the massive collection CREAM: THE BEST OF THE EROTIC READERS AND WRITERS ASSOCIATION. My short stories have appeared in more than two dozen print collections edited by erotica luminaries such as M. Christian, Maxim Jakubowski, Mitzi Szereto, Rachel Kramer Bussel, and Alison Tyler. In my so-called spare time, I also review books and films for the Erotica Readers and Writers Association and Erotica Revealed , and feature as a Celebrity Author at Custom Erotica Source My lifelong interests in sex and the written word became serenditipitously entwined nine years ago when I read my first Black Lace book by Portia da Costa. Her work inspired me to take my fantasies out of the closet (and the private email files) and expose them to the world. The rest, as they say, is history (although granted, no more than a minor footnote!) I've always loved traveling; my husband seduced me in a Burmese restaurant by telling me tales of his foreign adventures. Since then I have visited every continent except Australia, although I still have a long travel wish list. Currently I live with him and our two exceptional felines in Southeast Asia, where I pursue an alternative career that is completely unrelated to my creative writing. --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

More About the Author

I became addicted to words at an early age. I began reading when I was four. I wrote my first story at five years old and my first poem at seven. Since then, I've written plays, tutorials, marketing brochures, software specifications, self-help books, press releases, a five-hundred page dissertation, and of course, erotica and erotic romance.

My lifelong interests in sex and the written word became serendipitously entwined more than a decade ago when I read my first Black Lace book by Portia da Costa. Her work inspired me to take my fantasies out of the closet (and the private email files) and expose them to the world. The rest, as they say, is history (although granted, no more than a minor footnote!)

My work tends to be explicit, but I'm more interested in the emotional than the physical aspects of sexuality. I'm fascinated by the role of imagination and fantasy in stimulating desire. Much of my work explores themes in the area of dominance and submission. However, I write in a wide range of sub-genres including gay and lesbian erotica, erotic suspense, science fiction and paranormal.

In addition to writing, I have edited a number of multi-author collections. Currently I'm the editor for the single author charity erotica series COMING TOGETHER PRESENTS (http://www.eroticanthology.com). Each author contributes his or her work for free after designating a charity to receive all proceeds. In the last year we have published volumes benefiting Planned Parenthood, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), and the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN). Our next release will support multiple sclerosis research.

I've always loved traveling; my husband seduced me in a Burmese restaurant by telling me tales of his foreign escapades. Since then I have visited every continent except Australia, although I still have a long travel wish list. Currently I live with him and our two exceptional felines in Southeast Asia, where I dream about new adventures.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another winning story!, July 1, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Incognito (Mass Market Paperback)
Ms. Sarai is definitely my favorite erotic writer. I read Raw Silk and loved it, though I nearly fainted from the hot sex scenes. Incognito is even better. With Incognito Ms. Sarai has come more surely into her writing powers and provides the reader with an interesting and absorbing plot. Parallel lives, time changes, coincidences, synchronicities -- Ms. Sarai easily handles these often difficult themes. If you want a good read that just happens to have a lot of hot sex in it, read Incognito. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Have you ever wanted to live that other 'erotic' life ...., August 3, 2002

This review is from: Incognito (Mass Market Paperback)
well, in this book our heroine, Miranda, decides to take on the persona and lifestyle of Lucy, her incorrigibly sluttish roomate that takes off with a new lover du jour .....

Miranda, having had only one lover in her 24 years of life moves to Boston to start her doctoral work on 'Victorian Erotic Literature' .. although it seems like a strange choice considering her previous lifestle Miranda manages to 'borrow' the persona, some of the clothes and even friends and cyber contacts of her roomate as she, literally, hits the streets in search of erotic and sexual adventures.

I have read Raw Silk by this author and this is a completely unique erotic book and emphazises this authors ability to write real life type of stories that virtually sizzle on the pages. As a young American, Miranda is a highly believable character as she begins to understand what happens to women that finally allow their bodies to enjoy what their minds had feared to think about .....

Its hot hot hot and Im looking foreward to more works ......

5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious!, March 10, 2002

This review is from: Incognito (Mass Market Paperback)
I had almost given up on the current crop of erotic novels, because too many of them have predictable story lines, two dimensional characters and flimsy plotting. However, Incognito is really something different. Sarai skillfully combines the present day storyline with some tantalizing Victorian history. This book is well researched, erudite, well plotted and very sexy. Highly recommended.
