gardens speak for themselves,
By seattle girl (seattle, WA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Incomparable Japanese Gardens (Hardcover)
This book is full of beautiful color photographs of gardens in Japan. It has no written descriptions or information between the photos which allow the gardens to speak for themselves. You feel the serenity & peacefulness just by leafing through the book. It is like walking through the gardens themselves without a lot of chatter. If you want a book packed with written information, this is probably not the book for you. However, if you want the feel of a Japanese garden or want to obtain ideas just by looking at pictures, then this is a wonderful book to add to your collection.
