Featuring advanced design and fabrication. Our innovative one-piece design uses the most advanced manufacturing methods available to carve out a single monolithic blade from a solid slab of aluminum. This means you won't see the alignment errors that can happen when a separate blade is manually assembled to a separate handle, as in the more common two-piece design. Solid, rugged and beautiful, the hefty construction of the 1/4-inch solid alloy body and the 3/4-inch thick integrated alloy handle just feels right in the palm of your hand. Unlike conventional two-piece designs, the layout angle of our rigid, one-piece body won't get "bent out of shape" when you drop it! Look at where the red part meets the gold, there's a lip there. This lip lets you rest the red part over the edge of a board and it won't tip over or move; it's a great feature. Because this tool is so accurate; I don't keep it in my apron, which means I don't use it a lot. However, I mainly bought it to keep my tools aligned, which it does perfectly. If you can get over the outragous price, you'll love it, along with their regular square too. Incra is hard to beat when it comes to precision instruments, and they've done a fine job here.

Solid, precise, a bit spendy, but worth it. I have this one and the 90 deg. 7" model. This one is rather large to keep in a shop apron, but is excellent for setting up machines which is the main reason I purchased it. Get the pair. Set up your machines to be dead on. You wallet will soon recover and life in the shop will be good.

Very well designed, a lot of metal, superb craftmanship ! Feels really good in hands. And the most important, the 45 degree accuracy is dead on ! I tested it on my Starrett 36" straight edge (I drew a line by butting it against one egde, the flipped over to the opposit edge and drew another line on the top of the first line). Incredibly accurate.

I didn't check the 90 degree accuracy and do not really care since I also have purchased Incra Square (still in transit, haven't received it). I am totally convinced that the 90 degree square will be just as accurate as this one !

Close your eyes and buy it. You will not go wrong with this one.
