Incra TTRACKPLUS48 48-Inch T-Track Plus Aluminum T-Track Regular and T-Track PLUS for general purpose Jig & Fixture applications on work benches, drill presses, router tables, sliding platforms, fences, etc. T-Slot captures a standard 1/4" nut or 1/4" bolt head for attaching Stops, Clamps, Hold-Downs, Guards, and just about any other commonly used jig or fixture component. Can be flush mounted in a groove, or mounted directly to the surface of your application using the included #8 wood screws. Mounting groove dimensions are 1/2" deep by 3/4" wide for T-Track Regular and 1/2" deep by 1 1/4" wide for T-Track PLUS. In addition to the T-Slot on the T-Track Regular, the T-Track PLUS includes a highly accurate sliding Lexan scale that can be "zeroed" to any reference position. Gold anodized for durability and beauty. Available in 18", 24", 36" and 48" lengths.

Product Description

Add accuracy and precision to your jigs and fixtures with T-Track Plus from Incra. These tracks are designed with a host of enhancements. Like other tracks, the extruded anodized aluminum construction is designed to house a 1/4"-20 bolt head, but thats where the similarity ends. First, this track features a well in the extrusion allowing the track to be mounted using the included #8 pan head screws versus #6 flat head screws used by other tracks. The extra depth of the well allows the use of 1/4"-20 nuts that are not accommodated by other tracks. On the T-Track Plus there is the addition of a highly accurate Lexan scale that can be moved to a zero reference. The T-Track Plus is sized to fit a 1-1/4" wide opening.

I was looking for T-rail for a fence at my miter station. Most options were quite expensive. Incra (a name I know from years of woodworking) offered this at an excellent price. I wasn't disappointed. Solidly built product, nice finish and reasonable price.

This is a decent price for a dual track and the track has a decent design.

As noted by one of the other reviewers, the scale is in segments. There are marks to line up the segments hopefully without creating measurement error, but this will be much more cumbersome than if the scale moved as a single unit.

The Lexan scale on the Incra 48" Trackplus that I received from Tool King is torn is several places rendering it pretty useless as a sliding ruler. Zero stopping at any point would be a major chore. In the torn places, it is overlapping almost as if they took pieces from 3 different rulers and just stuck them in the track, not even bothering to splice them together. So when you slide it, you need to slide 3 different pieces and then line up the overlaps. I can't believe that Incra would send out a product like this, and I cannot believe that Tool King would either. Sure, I might be able to splice the thing together myself, but I am so mad at receiving such a bad product that I am not even going to try.

Another note: The scale is a right to left ruler. That did not bother me too much but I did not see that in any description. I had thought that Incra would have put a left to right scale on one side and a right to left on the other side. Nope.

The Trackplus that I received was not wrapped in any plastic nor any other packaging other that the box that Tool King put it into. I would have thought that Incra would have sent the product in some kind of shrink wrap just to protect the Lexan scale. Did Tool King know that they were sending me a defective unit? Who knows!

Also, the Lexan scale is pretty flimsy and brittle. I was counting on it being stiffer. I could see it breaking if it was slid outside the track and something fell on it or it banged into something.

This might be a good product if you do not need the advertised adjustable zero stop capability. For me it is a TTrack with no plus.
