Richard M. Foxx is a hands on clinician who writes from personal data based experience. His work is practical and concise. The more indepth book "Decreasing Behavior" is a wonderful companion to this book.

Behavioral Modification program
This is the grandfather of all behavioral modification information, although it is long out of date. Foxx's information works whether or not you are using it in the area of teaching the DD client; it works with dogs, cats and chinchillas as well as people because its principles are universal. I recommend it for anyone who needs to understand how to train using...

This is the grandfather of all behavioral modification information, although it is long out of date. Foxx's information works whether or not you are using it in the area of teaching the DD client; it works with dogs, cats and chinchillas as well as people because its principles are universal. I recommend it for anyone who needs to understand how to train using positive reinforcment techniques.

A Classic Primer of Behavior Analysis,

An excellent introduction to behavior analysis techniques for professionals or parents. It is useful today, and will never go out of date. I am a Behavior Analyst and this is one of the books I recommend for parents.
