5.0 out of 5 stars One of the most important books ever, December 12, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Incredible Bread Machine (Paperback)
The Incredible Bread Machine concisely and methodically strikes down all the common misconceptions regarding government and capitalism. It covers all the common objections to personal freedom and exposes the true motive behind most government actions, and who really benefits from them. It is well researched, clearly written, and entertaining. It will also make you terribly upset about the nature of government and what it does to society.

Please read this book! The more people who read this book, the better place the world will be.

This review is from: The Incredible Bread Machine (Paperback)
One of the best free-market books I've ever read. Recently republished (1999), available now from Laissez-Faire books. Has new examples, completely re-edited.

5.0 out of 5 stars A spectacularly excellent and simple defense of freedom., January 25, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Incredible Bread Machine (Paperback)
This is a wonderfully straightforward explanation of why individual freedom is the one necessary aspect for peace and prosperity. It is a decidedly libertarian volume with irrefutable logic that stands against the liberals, who want to control ones production, and conservatives, who want to control ones life. I recomment it as a grand introduction for those who are just beginning to consider what individual freedom (and there is no other kind) really is.

5.0 out of 5 stars Honest, to the point, shows how capititalism works, January 16, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: The Incredible Bread Machine (Paperback)
Being consertative I found this book refreshing as it pointed out how true capitailism works and how our government has misused is authority to grow. It even pointed out how FDR had the US gov require all gold to be turned it at $35.00/oz. Then devalued the dollar to the extent of a 2 Billion Dollar rip-off.

if yes, read this book.

it clearly and concisely lays out the answers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Covers all the subjects., December 23, 2004
By
This review is from: The Incredible Bread Machine (Paperback)
I was impressed on how well this book was organized, and how it tied all the subjects together. Capitalism is the most effective way to run economics, and this is the basic principle of The Incredible Bread Machine.
Governments screw up in almost everything they touch, and then screw up again trying to fix what they screwed up before. This book potrayed that extremely well, I think it is a must read.
