4.0 out of 5 stars Great for intermediate guitarists
This was a great book for a guitarist of an intermediate skill level, it does not explain much, just shows chord diagrams.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not for easy guitar
If you are still playing easy guitar (like me), then you might want to consider the Ultimate Guitar Chord book (also by Hal Leonard).

In my opinion, it is easier, requires no fingering above the 5th fret, and only a little bit of barre chording (not all 6 strings ... usually just 4 strings). Although the Ultimate Guitar Chord book is 'larger', it only has ~8...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not for easy guitar, December 7, 2007
This review is from: Incredible Chord Finder - 6 inch. x 9 inch. Edition: Hal Leonard Guitar Method Supplement (Paperback)

Although the Ultimate Guitar Chord book is 'larger', it only has ~8 pages (much thinner), and it stays open (unlike the Incredible Chord Finder).

However, if you are an intermediate/advanced player and have no problems with barre chords ... then this book is for you (4-5 stars).

3.0 out of 5 stars Good for learning, but not inspirational, June 26, 2011
This review is from: Incredible Chord Finder - 6 inch. x 9 inch. Edition: Hal Leonard Guitar Method Supplement (Paperback)
This chord finding guide is for up and coming guitarist who want to learn as many chords as possible. There are over 1,116 chords in all. If you are a beginner/enthusiast then this concise book will steer you in the right direction.

Enjoy!!!!!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Good collection but hard to read on kindle, March 31, 2011

This book has a fairly comprehensive collection of chords and voicings. For some of the chords, I have found easier fingerings elsewhere.

The formating for kindle leaves a bit to be desired. The diagrams are relatively small and can be difficult to read. The flats and sharps in the headings are not clear - so you do need to make sure you are looking up the right key!
