I bought this book at my local food co-op and felt compelled to leave a review after seeing a negative rating left by another person. I'm new to this type of eating, and have had fun experimenting with the recipes in the book.

Honestly, what initially attracted me was the price.....it's cheaper than most other paleo recipe books (and now I see it's even cheaper on Amazon, oops). But so far I'm pleased. The author has done a nice job of writing clear instructions and the formatting is very nice. Maybe the previous reviewer has an older version of the book? Whatever the case, I wanted to weigh in with my 2 cents, as I was surprised to see a negative review for this title.

Also, a tip: if you live near the Sprouts supermarket chain, I've found that they have the best pricing on coconut flour. It can be found in the bulk foods section there.

I tried out the waffles and the pancakes, and both recipes turned out beautifully. These recipes turned out beautifully even though I skipped the honey. (she uses honey as a sweetener in many of the baked items)In so doing, I produced almost carb free waffles and pancakes. I also skipped the chocolate chips in the banana pancakes.

I'm looking forward to trying more from her collection.

A lot of these seem readily adaptable to gluten free LOW CARB baking which is rare in gluten free circles and baking is a bit outside of the usual protein based paleo fare.

Love this cookbook. I think it's well worth the money, and I highly recommend it.

In my quest to eat healthier, and cook and bake healthier for my family, I've added coconut flour to our diets. We don't have any gluten free family members, but a couple of my daughter's friends have gluten intolerance, and it's great to be able to bake things everyone can eat.

We have enjoyed many of the recipes in this book, and a few have already become favorites. I highly suggest starting with the lemon coconut chia muffins and the gooey raspberry brownies -- so good! The chicken recipes are also staples for easy/yummy/healthy dinners.
