Olafur Thor Eiriksson or Olithor Eiriks was born in Reykjavik, Iceland June 19 1955. Had a normal upbringing in Keflavik with a younger brother and sister.
He was a goalkeeper and took part in all kinds of sports and had a lot of fun because in Iceland the children are free to play long into the night.
After junior college at the age of twenty he caused a horrible accident, where 2 of his friends were killed and he was paralised from the neck down, unable to speak and without memory.
His battle of returning to a normal life has been an incredible struggle which you can read about in his remarkable bio: "My Incredible Struggle After The Accident".

He has written 2 other stories based on his own life:

"The Resurrection" - An erotic love story with a mystical tone; disabled people need love like everybody else but circumstances and interfering of dead people brings this beautiful love affair to a sudden end.
