5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible Vision ?- Absolutely, August 14, 2009

This review is from: Incredible Vision: The Wildlands of Greater Yellowstone (Paperback)
This is the best book I've read on a favorite subject of mine, Yellowstone National Park and the broader area surrounding it. I've been there many times and read nearly everything available, yet have never before written an Amazon review. This book moved me to write because it is the BEST and most readable book on the subject in my experience. It explains in easy to understand terms, the relationships between the various elements of an 'Ecosystem', the geology of the land, the climate, the people and animals that live there and the politics of western land management. When you combine clear explanations with excellent story telling and great photography, you have a winner. The author tells us he has lived and worked in the area for 30 years and he has the stories and pictures to prove it. This one is a winner!!
