Over 500 recipes, quick & easy to gourmet. Easily read and clear instructions. Inspirational quotes from some of the greatest thinkers of all time, as well as from celebrities of the present day vegetarian movement on nearly every page. I could just read the quotes and it is a wonderful book. It has mouth watering color pictures and interesting reading all from the Gentle World vegan community who make their home in Hawaii and New Zealand. It is the most comprehensive, has it all, plant-based book available that I've seen! I highly recommend it...it is beautifully presented.

Recently my wife received a present from a physician friend of ours: a cookbook. Not just any cookbook, but a vegan cookbook out of Hawaii. Anything to do with Hawaii makes me sit up and take notice! The color photos in the book looked so scrumptious that she began to try a couple of the recipes -- and then another, and another and another! Soon we settled down to methodically working our way through the book! Well -- she cooks, and I cheer her on, the gustatorially appreciative husband! :-)

It soon became obvious that this particular book is one of those rarities: a cookbook wherein just about all of the recipes are home runs! Some are simple, others more complex. This isn't a speedbook; It's a book for people who love the preparation process in itself, who just love to feed people, where the results comprise an exciting, surprsing and delightful feast! So if you love "adventures in the kitchen," and are willing to give the time and investment that these delights deserve, this is the book that will please you, your friends and your family!

"Incredibly Delicious: Recipes for a New Paradigm" is one of my favorite cookbooks. In fact, I'm partial to almost anything produced by the "Gentle World" people ever since I purchased this book of theirs.

I love this book firstly for the wonderful recipes. I've pulled it off my bookshelf many, many times when I was craving "something" and I've never been disappointed.

I also like the quotes and little tips here and there. One quote from this book that really made me wonder where we're heading as human beings was "Within 24 hours of birth, more than 90% of calves are taken away from their mothers forever" by Erik Marcus - Vegan:The New Ethics of Eating.

If you think about it for a minute, 90% of all calves are taken from their mother within 24 hours of being born?? Maybe she's "just a cow" but can you imagine losing your baby within 24 hours of it being born ? And to have it done repeatedly to you? What do you think that will do to your spirit?

Leave the animals alone. Eat grains, plants, vegetables, fruits, seeds, nuts and beans and you will be at peace with yourself. Try this book for some amazing recipes!

This collection contains mouth-watering vegan recipes for everything from Rich Chocolate Mousse through Sunflower Corn Chips and Black Bean Tostadas, to Moroccan Vegetable Stew, Super Vegan Burgers, and Awesome Carot Salad with Almond Mayonaise! And (to my suprise) raw food recipes and instructions, as well. And the large color photos . . .WOW, beautiful AND great serving suggestions.

There is a helpful ingredient glossery for those who are new to vegetarian cooking, information on sources and resources, and a recommended reading list. Plus, each page contains an inspirational quote from leaders you will recognize so that 'body and soul' are nourished.

The folks at Gentle World explain why choosing to align with the 'new' paradigm supports not only our individual lives and health (tastily, I might add), but tastefully explain why it is also vital to the rest of the planet and her other occupants.

There are no specific vegan cat and dog food reipes, but references.

This isn't the same old cookbook. It has a lot of recipes I haven't seen before in other cookbooks. Everything I have tried is delicious. I highly recommend it.
