This review is from: Incurable (Kindle Edition)
I love the Tomorrow series, I read it many times as a teenager and again as an adult, and found it to be an intense and addictive read every time. However, the Ellie Chronicles, and in particular Incurable (haven't read the 3rd one yet) have been disappointing. It was still an addictive read, but I found that I became tired of this book on many occasions. Marsden harped on far too much about farming. I really don't care that much about farming and cows and minute details about their breakfasts. It's boring and repetitive. I found a lot of the scenes to be unrealistic and drawn out as well. The new characters seemed somewhat one dimensional and were not fleshed out enough. Gavin was irritating and unlikeable.
