The [...] Acer Aspire One has the same chipset and graphics card, and matches this computer in every regard, except for two things - Aspire One's ship with only 1 gig of RAM, and Aspire One's don't ship with this operating system.
If you go to Indamixx's website, you can purchase their operating system for [...] as a digital download. If you have any familiarity with installing Linux distros, this would be a great way to save money. If you don't know what Linux is, or you don't know how to install a distro, it might be better to spend an extra [...]. All software involved with this netbook is listed here:[...] The operating system is the biggest deal on this netbook - but you could probably find another lightweight, real-time Gnome based Linux distro. TL;DR If an extra [...] is no big deal to you, this is a great choice. But if you're looking to save a few bucks, check out the Acer Aspire One. |
