This book picks up where the previous book Indecent Proposal ends. Lola is back and even more bitter after her time in jail. She still feels bitter about her Dad walking out on her and her Mom when she was three years old and resents all men that cheat on their wives and girlfriends. She trusts no man even Gee who loves her unconditionaly. More drama unfolds when she takes the case of Lisette Williamson who knows that her husband is cheating and wants the proof. Lisette still loves her husband but still wants the truth so she can end her sham of a marriage. Bernard thinks he has the upper hand when Lisette confronts him but finds that his timid wife is not so timid anymore and then the drama unfolds. Nola finally realizes that Gee does love her and sticks with her until the bitter end after all the mess hits the fan. AC does again with another drama filled, action packed book. You will be shocked at the ending of this story.

4.0 out of 5 stars Revenge, December 26, 2009

This review is from: Indecent Exposure (Paperback)
The sequel to Indecent Proposal is here and it finds Nola Brentwood out of prison with a business of her own and score to settle with all players. With all the pent up anger she can muster, Nola starts Breakdown, a private investigation service, with the express goal of making cheaters pay a high premium for their indiscretions. She literally breaks men down publicly and financially, at the behest of her clients, for their cheating ways. This lucrative proposal has netted her a fifth assignment in ten months. Her newest client is Lisette Williamson, who suspects her husband Bernard is sleeping with one of his employees.

Nola infiltrates Censor Creative Media to get the goods on Bernard. On a trip to the Virgin Islands to shoot a commercial, she catches her targets in the act and devises a plan to give her and her client maximum exposure. That exposure comes with a heavy price for nearly all involved. Nola gets a huge lesson on love and trust, but will it be enough to help her get rid of all the bitterness that drives her?

In INDECENT EXPOSURE, A.C. Arthur provides readers with a riveting read that is action-packed and laced with some very steamy sexual scenes. She updates readers on characters from the previous book and introduces a few more interesting ones. Her character development, as always, is great. This book is full of drama and provided a few twists that kept me on the edge of my seat and turning the pages. Arthur will not disappoint you with this one.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nola is a HOT A- MESS!!, July 10, 2009
This review is from: Indecent Exposure (Paperback)
I was eagerly awaiting the sequel to " Indecent Proposal" to see how Nola would fare after she had been locked up for doing what I think all women have wanted to do from time to time (shoot a man who betrayed you in the groin"). Well it seems Nola came out even more bitter than when she went in. Indecent Exposure Nola Brentwood is the owner and only employee of her business called "Breakdown" in which she is hired by women to expose their cheating spouses, boyfriends, significant others, ruin them financially, and publicy. This book did not dissapoint, It had some surprising twists that I was not expecting, but all in all it was a great book!!! Great Job! AC

2.0 out of 5 stars Indecent Exposure, May 20, 2010
This review is from: Indecent Exposure (Paperback)
After reading Indecent Proposal I was happy to see a Part 2 to find out how the 3 cousins turned out. Nola, who has just gotten out of jail after shooting her cousins fiance' for deceiving and embarrassing her at their wedding is still bitter and wants to help other women who are being cheated on by their husbands/boyfriends, opens up an business that catches the man in the act and blackmails them so the women can get even and royalites. The problem that I had with this book is, it only focused on one case that was drawn out over one long weekend and all of the too many characters that tied into it. I guess I expected more depth in the story and not so much useless sex scenes that didn't really fit at all. And enough with the girl on girl action, that just wasn't for me then the ending was totally stupid, over the top and unresolved.

This was a good saga from the first book I read. I'm hoping that A.C. will write another one with an update on all the cousins. A.C.'s writing is superb.
