Hot,Sexy and Full Of Surprises,
By
This review is from: Indecent Proposal (Paperback)
AC Arthur heats up the summer with her latest novel, Indecent Proposal. Nola, Serena and Cally are cousins living in Baltimore. They are successful, independent and comfortable with being single women that have very healthy sexual appetites. Twice a month, the three would get together to drink, unwind and enjoy an adult movie. The latest discussion - younger cousin, Jenna, is getting married. Everyone, particularly their mothers, questions them about jumping the broom. After agreeing that they cannot go to the wedding alone, the three decide to take dates. But not just any date - it has to be someone that can fulfill every sexual fantasy they have. All three women ask sexy, attractive, available men to be their dates. Nola is intrigued with a law clerk from her office; Cally seduces her gynecologist, and Serena asks her old high school sweetheart, who has suddenly returned to Baltimore from Los Angeles. All three are totally pleased when they discover that their partners' sexual appetites are just as healthy as theirs. After arriving in St. Michaels, Maryland for the wedding, their cousin, Jenna, is not looking all too well; Nola's date disappears and they realize that keeping their end of the proposal is going to be more difficult than they thought. Arthur has definitely added a lot of sizzle to this book. The story was fast paced with gyrating sexual scenes that will keep the reader engrossed from the first page. Arthur has also added just enough secrets, scandal and surprises that make this story more than just an erotic tale. I loved this story and I have placed it in the top category of surprise books for the year. Reviewed by: Priscilla C. Johnson APOOO BookClub

This story was hot, full of drama and you won't be able to put this book down until you finish it! Cally, Serena and Nola are cousins who act more like sister's and each have a grim view on love, relationships and marriage. They each have their reasons for their views about relationships and feel they are valid reasons until they get a wedding invitation from another cousin. They come up with a plan to invite a date just for the weekend of the wedding to keep their mother's off their backs about their unmarried state. Two fall in love and one cousin finds out her date has a secret that causes a lot of drama the night before the wedding. The ending will shock you and have your mouth hanging open when the drama unfolds. Another great story by A.C.

OMG!!! I had a hard time putting this book down, but I do agree it is not for the faint at heart. This story is about three spinster cousin being forced to attend a younger cousins wedding and facing the ridicule of being successful women who are single and over 30. Little did they know when they set out to find dates to take the focus off of their single status, that they would get more than they bargain for. Serena and James have unfinished business, Cally and Steven discover there's more to their relationship than explosive sex and Nola discovers that Mark has secrets that will turn the whole weekend upside down. There is more to this story than hot erotic sex. There are underlining issues of instability, deceit and trust. Jenna(the cousin whose wedding they are all in St. Michael to attend) is a little insipid, but she is far from the innocent little cousin they think. It soon comes to light that she is lot more conniving than anyone would have ever given her credit for being. A.C. Arthur wove a great story full of dis-functionality and drama that's definitely worth reading.
