4.0 out of 5 stars Good, but not as good as their other albums IMHO..., April 8, 2006

Sorry, you all can cream in your jeans over this record all you want, but their other albums where guitarist Bruce Stuckey was the lead singer (EVERY album after this one, in fact!) I've always liked more: "Kill By Remote Control" (2nd LP), "Bullets For You" (4th LP), "Dedication 1979-1988" (5th LP) (which is NOT a "greatest hits" compilation as some people have said!), and the import only "Anything For Money" (6th LP) (which IS available on CD unlike the others!) are all superior albums IMHO. Toxic Reasons are my favorite punk band of all time... I should know : )

5.0 out of 5 stars All This And More..., January 31, 2006
This review is from: Independence (Audio CD)

Hi Teri M., The song you are remembering is "Revolution?" and it's on the album "Kill by Remote Control".

Steve W., it's good to see that you are still alive and out there somewhere, hope all is well with you and yours!

Toxic Reasons were relentless trailblazers on the road, and were often the first Punk band to play at many of the cities they visited on their frequent coast-to-coast US and Canada tours. Everyone who was there in the "Independence" days knows that you had to see this band to believe it.

This recording shows a glimpse of the expolsion that was a Toxic Reasons live performance.

Even after a hundred shows I was still amazed...

5.0 out of 5 stars The Boys Are Back In Town!, April 30, 2004
By
Steven Watkins (Indianapolis, Indiana United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Independence (Audio CD)
What can I say? Not only is this a classic of it's time, it quite literally defines the time.
The passion and energy that the Toxics delivered with each live performance put them in a class of their own. Only D.O.A. can be mentioned in the same breath.
These guys were not just my friends, they were my brothers.
I desperately miss you guys, and hope that each of you have found the success that you so richly deserve.
