About the Author

Susan Johnsen, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the department of educational psychology at Baylor University, Waco, Texas. She is the director of the Programs for the Gifted and Talented and is a frequent presenter at state, national, and international conferences. She is the author of numerous tests, curricular materials, and journal articles. She is the past coordinator of staff development programs for gifted teachers and currently operates institutes for secondary and elementary gifted students. She lives in Waco with her husband and son.
