This review is from: Index to The grimoirium verium [sic]: (1994 Trident Press version of the 1517 edition)
Grimoirium Verum is a fantastic work, as wonderful for the information contained therein, as for the style in which it is presented - an Elizabethan styling. The text is beautifully set, and the Magickal experiments described are powerful. This is however an extremely complicated book, and must be read carefully for the best results.

I read this book a few times now. The book covers many topics and resembles the Key of Solomon in many ways, although touches a more "blackish" aspect of magick - blood, sacrifices, heads of men, fat of thine enemy, etc. Yet a very good book for the practitioner. This is no modern-newage grimoire, but the real deal from medieval magickians. Read this one to learn more about the old ceremonial magic(k).Later, Or. |
