Gurucharan Das has well captured the moral dilemma that is gripping middle class India. To understand India, one must read this great work of his and specially his ability to link with History and the concept of Dharma in simple and yet clear and concise terms. A fascinating book and exceptionally well written! Perhaps his best ever!!!

Gurcharan Das style of easy writing is eminent in this book as his early books which all I have read. Its a book you will want to start reading and end it without getting bored. He discusses the ideas of economic reforms along with new reforms ( i.e. Electoral, Administrative , Police and Judicial) I believe these are far more important any other reforms if we as country have to lift ourselves from where we are today. Good work Sir.....

As an Indian American in the US for over 40 years, enjoyed reading about what was happening in India between 2000 and 2014 and the author's well thought out prescription for India to become a better country.

It is an excellent reading. However, at times I feels it is a bit repetitive. Still I will recommend this to all who want to understand India's growth story.
