I would recommend this for the beautiful photography of tigers and India in general. More a travelogue than a documentary based on the life of Jim Corbett, it is nicely produced and attractive to watch. It is, however, not the movie of Corbett's "Man Eaters of Kumaon" that I had hoped. I read Corbett's book years ago and was fascinated with the man and the tigers Corbett portrays so vividly in his stories. My recommendation? Read the book! It is ever so much better in instilling the personality of Corbett and majesty of the beasts he hunted. And ultimately it impresses one with Corbett's plea to conserve much better than this movie.

It was good, but no one has captured Jim Corbetts excellent writing skills in his books into a movie

Or if you want to go. I went on a tiger safari and didn't see a tiger. We saw lots of calm deer which told me the tiger wasn't close.
