Imported from France, Candied Violets have been used by generations of pastry chefs and confectioners to decorate cakes, petits fours, and parfaits. Candied Rose Petals and Candied Violet Petals are also available. Portion: 0.5 oz.

Come on--you know you want this! What could be more decadent than candied violets? Harems, seraglios, well-kept women, luxury unbound! When I think the world has a personal grudge against me, I just put a couple of these on top of my cottage cheese and voila! I am, once again, at the height of my powers!

I ordered these to use in decorating a wedding cake, but did not use them. They also took a very long time to arrive - after the wedding in fact! They taste good, but are not very pretty. I'm sure they'd be fine for something else, where the fact that they look more like raisins than flowers is less important! I generally love India Tree products.
