Purchased this for a 5 year old. She absolutely loved the bright, real-life pictures in the book. My son who is 3 also loves this book especially the page with the Royal Bengal tiger. The kids have learnt a lot about India from this book. This is a good India exposure book for kids.

This book is beautiful. It will do for browsing and learning about India and it will be perfect for students needing information for a report. The illustrations are lovely, the layout is user friendly. There is information about history, culture, religion and explains Ghandi and his beliefs in a manner young students will understand. Recommended for elementary school libraries and anyone wanting to learn about India.
