I was a little hesitant spending this on a costume but my son who is 9 years old, has been wanting one for some time now and I was very satisified with my purchase after receiving it. The quality is well worth the money. The material is very soft and the fring and everything is sewn very neatly. Very well made and very well worth the money.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received my order, not only did I get it very fast but the costume was very nice. The fringe detail on it was great, very authentic looking. Unfortunately two days before I saw this costume I had ordered another one from another company, and I was so disappointed in it, so when I saw this one I was hesitant to order it thinking it would not look good either, but I'm really glad I did order it because it's great, my son will look wonderful in his play next week! I bought what was listed as "medium" 6X-8 from my son who usually wears Medium boys clothes. The costume was too small. Furthermore, the link to view seller's size information only tells you to contact the seller directly. I'm very disappointed.

I purchased this costume for my 2 year old son to wear on Halloween. I was going back and forth between a few Native American costumes on here and I am so glad I went this one! It is made very well and I don't anticipate it wearing anytime soon. It is obviously thin since it is a costume, so I just put sweats and a shirt underneath and off we went trick or treating. I accidentally mixed up two size charts and bought the small so it was HUGE on him. however I rolled the sleeves and pants with a pin and it looks just fine. I am actually happy to have made this mistake. Now he can wear it even longer. I already intend for my son to wear this costume on Thanksgiving. Very happy with this purchase. My son received so many compliments and many people asked me where I got it from.

My son loves the costume and it wasn't bad initially for what I paid as the sale price. However, after only one brief wear (inside only) by my son the fringe started unraveling on one leg. Too much trouble to send it back so I just stitched it back up as best as I could but I hope more of it doesn't continue to come off.

I gave it 3 stars for educational since the costume does generate learning opportunities with questions from my son about native american culture.

I went with Large (10-12) for my 8 year old based on previous reviews and it worked out perfectly. In regular clothes he wears a size 8.

My 8-year-old wanted to be Squanto for his school's Historical Halloween, but every Native American child costume we looked at seemed to be very cheaply made and looked it. This one looked great! Sturdy fabric, and will almost certainly last a few years as a dress-up outfit for the kids. The headband and feather are great, though I needed to take in the headband a bit so that it would quit slipping. This large 10-12 size was a tiny bit big for my standard-sized 8-year-old, but I'm sure the next size down would have been too small. I was very grateful for the other reviewers' advice to buy a size up!

I ordered this costume for my son for halloween. While shopping at the local stores only offered us much more expensive product ($40.00 and up) for a much less impressive overall costume. The costume is very well made out of nice material. It arrived quickly and my son was delighted. He looked great on Halloween as well as at a costume party the weekend before. I bought a large because I read some reviews that said it ran small. The large was a little big on him (he is 6) but will fit him so he can play with it for some time to come. All in all we were very satisfied with this the quality product.

Bought this costume for my 4th grader as a Halloween costume. It has great style, detailing and a comfy fit. I should have bought a little larger size so we could reuse it again next year and I would recommend that you buy a larger size if you plan for your child to wear this over clothes while trick-or-treating. Good quality for the price. Much better quality than costumes that you would buy off the rack at most retail stores, and for the same price.

This costume is exactly what we needed for the Peter Pan play my son is in. We got it a size bigger and that worked fine. It's very soft compared to others we looked at, like a brushed flannel.

With other costumes, they typically run big in size. Not this costume. My son wears an 8. I bought the Med costume (size 6x-8). No way in the world does this fit. It's definitely a 6-6x and no bigger than that. The feather headpiece is way too small, too. It does appear to be a well made costume. I am disappointed that I have to return it and due to when we need this costume, I will have to come up with something else for my son to wear to Pioneer Day at school.
