Excellent coverage of American Homes,
By Vivek "Vivek" (MI) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Indian Fengshui (Vaastu) for American Homes (Vaatsu) (Paperback)
Wow! I must say that reading this book has changed my wrong opinion of Vaastu as simply a requirement that "door must be in the northeast....and this must be here..".
This book is very down to earth in explaining the reasoning, and rationale behind Vastu concept. That reasoning you may find in other books too, but this one explains them in relates to standard features in homes in the USA. It covers walk-out basements for example, or powder-room and location of HVAC, attached vs detached garages and many things only in US homes, which you cant find in general Vastu articles on Indian websites. This is an excellent read, and highly recommended for anyone looking to buy/build a home, or even town-home/condo searchers. I would have liked more example floor plans, or more figures to explain words at places and was about to give it 4 stars. But I think at this price it deserves 5 stars for sure. ( I would like to mention that i bought the online download version at vaastubook.com for $5) |
