A friend recommended this book so I down loaded it and couldn't put it down. Duff not only explains how much the rest of the world owes to the agriculture, technology and political organizations of America's original inhabitants, but provides a much needed alternative vision of world history. Not the least pedantic though well footnoted. A delightful read.
