Can't tell you how many times I've seen a new bird at the feeder or out the window and have ran for my binoculars and this book! Gives good descriptions of plumage, calls, feeding, nesting and migration habits for lots of Midwestern/Indiana birds. Nice photos and background info, too. I borrowed this from the library several times and finally bought my own copy. Great little book.

This book has wonderful pictures and good information on the birds I see at my bird feeder. Now I can identify them with the book in hand. I love this book.
