This Idol Replica is a must have if anybody is going as Indiana Jones for Halloween or a costume party, and after you are done using it as a prop you can use it for a bank and store all of your loose change. It is a perfect size and looks just like the Idol from the 1981 movie "Raiders of the Lost Ark".

Great product, my son loved it as he is a big Indiana Jones fan and this is a worthy addition to his collection.

The cheapest of the Indie Idol replicas. I sprayed mine with Krylon's Gold Foil Metallic spray paint. The result is a dead ringer for the original theatric version. Highly recommended!

I just introduced my son to Raiders of the Lost Ark, and now he's obsessed. The Step2 Clubhouse Climber we bought him two years ago sat neglected in the back yard until I turned it into his own "Peruvian Temple of Doom." Of course no Indiana Jones adventure would be complete without a fertility idol, so I bought this one. My son loves it. The spray-painted finish is dull, but tough. The idol has already been dropped on the cement patio several times, but aside from a few nicks it looks fine. Well worth the money, but not so expensive that I don't mind my son playing rough with it, and if/when he tires of playing with it, we can use it as a bank. (Note that at the time of this review, it was priced just under $14.)

So I bought this for my Dad for father's day. This was the movie he would put on whenever i couldn't fall asleep as a kid. In terms of the product itself it looks awesome! It sits on his desk at work and he always gets complimented.

A very cool prop replica from Raiders of the Lost Ark....seems to be made of durable plastic molding. Gold paint will rub off with a lot of rubbing...mine had a small spot rubbed off from shipping. Otherwise, a very cool prop that freaks my wife out when she looks at it.

Awesome replica of the fertility idol from the opening scene of "Raiders of the Lost Ark". i actually wanted this not to use as a bank, but as a neat shelf-prop for my screening room. It's a good-sized replica and except for the coin slot in the back and the stopper in the bottom, is totally sealed/very sturdy with nice detail (though it's not a metallic/shiny finish like the one in the film, but that's a minor point). Should be interesting to see how many guests recognize what it's from.....i should probably hunt down a replica of the Maltese Falcon next.

Indy may have lost this idol to his competition in the first movie, but if he's running around for Halloween, this is a MUST!
