I bought this for my son for his Halloween costume. It is going to be perfect!
I gave it to him early because as we all know, Indy's hat is not meant to be pretty. I told my son to sit on it, crumple it, stomp on it, etc. If anything, the felt hat is too well made! It still springs back to it's original shape. Guess he is just going to have to get rougher with it.
The whip is well made also. My dad had a great time in my backyard grabbing trees and such.

I got this for my son who is 9. He and his friends fight over who gets to play with it first. I would highly recommend it.

I'll keep this short. If you have a child who loves Indiana Jones, this is a spectacular set for them. My son walks around with the hat on, and holding the whip for many hours each day since I got it. His siblings are extremely jealous and they beg them to let him play. The only con is that you have to tell your child over and over again not to use this whip on anything by the floor. They can get carried away because it is so fun.

This hat was ordered for a man with a larger sized head. It fit him well and looked very nice.

One of my coworkers was looking to spruce up a presentation he was doing on "software archeology" and wanted an Indiana Jones theme. After helping him plot and scheme a bit I also helped him by placing the order for this Indiana Jones hat & whip set. Our expectations weren't high, especially for the low price of this set. But, I have to say we were both pleasantly surprised.

I'll be honest, this is not a high quality set. But, it's a great costume set for the price. The hat feels like it's a plastic mold with a fuzzy layer applied over the top. I'm pretty sure if you scraped it you would probably see the plastic shell. The hat is actually pretty large, my head is 24" around and I usually struggle to find any sort of costume hat that doesn't look like a beanie on me. This actually fit me comfortably. My coworker was thinking he might be able to use the extra foam sizing blocks from a bike helmet to make it stay on his head better.

The whip looks like a whip. It's not incredibly long, and probably wouldn't hold up too well to actually being used as a whip. But, if you wanted a real whip you would not be buying an inexpensive costume set. The whip looked and acted enough like a whip that a manager did temporarily/jokingly confiscate it for the duration of the presentation it was used in.

Coupled with a brown bomber jacket and beige/khaki shirt this set will definitely help you look the part of Indiana Jones.

It was cheap, durable enough and got the job done. You can hurt someone with the whip, which makes that much more bada$$ is you ask me. It was exactly what I was looking for.

My 6 year old was thrilled with the whip, he IS Indiana Jones now. However, when he tried to swing from the whip it broke, he cried. We taped it, he's happy again.

Using the whip as a whip will hurt if it gets you, be careful.

This is a great set for you child, just keep in mind that the hat is adult size so it may be too large for little children. The hat is durable and a felt like feel. The whip is life like too. Like the hat, the whip isn't suitable for the little ones. GREAT for halloween!

My son wanted to be Indiana Jones for Halloween and I purchased his costume. Shortly after, my husband wished to be the same. I ordered this and it went great with his costume! My son got the kids' version. The whip is just some leather weaved together...it can't really do any harm/damage.

So I love Indiana Jones, and decided that it would be fun to be a girl version of him for Halloween this year! I bought the hat and the whip set and it made the outfit! Everyone loved my costume! The hat and whip were very good quality. The hat was a little big, since it was probably for a man, but it worked out just fine!
