And they were unable to walk away from this play set for three hours on the first day, and have continued to play with this set, despite getting oodles of holiday gifts. It is good quality, with an Indy and a bad guy and just enough moving parts to encourage them to fill in the action. That said, shop around!! the price on this varies wildly. We got it on the low side, which is just how I like it.

Wowsers. If you told me that Korean children who born almost twenty years after the last Indiana Jones film would dig this playset so much, I wouldn't have believed you - and yet, here we are.
I am an American teaching English in a small Korean town. I bought this playset as an Indy fan and to show it to my kids. They went nuts over it. They love the 'boulder action' especially, and never hesitate to flip over the 'quicksand' feature and the hidden stairs. Would I have liked a few more features? Sure, maybe like the throne room that appears at the end of the picture, or maybe some kind of 'escape route' the figures could slide out of. Also, the 'whip swing' that the characters can haul about on pulled off after less than an hour - be ready re-tie it. But you know what? My students love the thing. And that alone makes it a great toy. It comes with two figures, a well-detailed Indy and an Ugga (?) Warrior. It can actually make for an iteresting conversation as to where the warrior is from - Peru, I think - which can then lead to discussions about geography (the kids think he's an early Native American). I picked this up on Amazon for an amazing 24.99. Definately worth the price.

I ordered this for my grandson's 8th birthday. He really likes Indiana Jones at the moment. He has enjoyed playing with this toy and uses his imagination a lot.

This was just what I was looking for for my son's 6th birthday. It is good quality and sturdy, has held up to over a month's constant play. Really let's the childs imagination go to work.[...]

This is one of the BEST Indiana Jones toys ever! I love it's detail of vines and rocks. I also like it's booby traps. The boulders are cool with the lever and all, but I thought that they could be a little bigger. And the quicksand is cool. The little hand on the other side is cute and cool. And the break-away door is sweet! And the tree branch where you have to whip on it and go to the other side. I sadly lost my whip to it but I have other whip toys ! The temple of akator- COOLEST INDIANA JONES TOY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Akator castle was a great re-use of parts by Hasbro for the ill-fated Indiana Jones toy line. This piece was originally used in the Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith toy line, but if you didn't just read that, you may have never known. This piece fits perfectly with the Indiana Jones toy line and is a lot of fun. In my house it gets used for all sorts of action figure play i.e. Indiana Jones, Star Wars, GI Joe, Marvel Universe, etc. If you can get a good price on this playset I would recommend picking it up!

The boys loved this playset. Good quality and very realistic. Only downside is it took almost a month to arrive.

This play set is one of my favorites! I got it for Christmas in 2008. I like how the boulders run out of that hole when you pull the lever. And how the quicksand has that hand on the other side when you fall in! And the indian-type-thing is kind of cool, too. I just think that this play set could use more booby traps. I have a huge collection of Indiana Jones. I have a jungle cutter, and many one car and 2 motorcycles! Other than that, I think that this play set is awesome!
And whoever doesn't have one, but likes Indiana Jones, I recommend this awesome temple play set!!!!!!

It's a decent toy but has nothing to do with the movie it seems to be promoting.

I have a 3 1/2 year old and 7 year old (both boys). We put this together right away. They both played with it for maybe 30 minutes and haven't touching it since. I think that if your kids are always playing with play sets, they will love it. My boys are a little more of the outdoors running around or video game type. I think it is very detailed and fun IF your kids will sit and play with it.
