Biography

If you've seen any American movies over the last forty years, chances are you've heard a John Williams score. A quick name check of films you're sure to recognize includes Jaws, Star Wars, Superman, ET, Schindler's List and Harry Potter, but his output has been prolific, to say the least. During his six decade career he has become one of Hollywood's most celebrated soundtrack composers. He has… Read more in Amazon's John Williams (Composer) Store

5.0 out of 5 stars FINALLY...AN EXPANDED SCORE!, April 18, 2009
This has always been one of my favorite Indy scores. I have always wanted the score when Indy "approaches the stones," and now I have it! I also like the expanded sequences from the mine fight.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best!, April 13, 2009
This is best score in the Indiana Jones franchise (well at least in my opinion). I give the 5 stars for the score written for the film overall and am happy that the new soundtracks are remastered in which the sound is impeccable. There is only one tiny complaint...just wish the entire score was available, but I digress lol. P.S.- I'm still not sure as to why some reviewers rate a certain product because they had a bad experience with a certain seller in which it has nothing to do with the product itself.

4.0 out of 5 stars The soundtrack we should have had 20+ years ago., February 5, 2010

I often wonder what goes through the minds of marketers or producers when they release a product that's half baked. What do they say or contemplate to themselves? Something like, "Aw, who cares about all that other stuff anyway?" or "Screw 'em, they're lucky to be getting this!" or "Heh, I simply don't care."

Whichever, this is the beautiful music to a very entetaining film that we should have had many years ago, but are only now getting after two and a half plus decades?

Oh well. Just be glad you have it.
