Looked up malaria no more while watching the BCS chanpionship game. Fox wants you to text and donate via your phone bill, but we saw this great album on the website instead. Either way, someone is going to get a mosquito net and be safe from malaria! :DA big Peter Bjorn and John fan, I was excited to see an exclusive track from them. And there are several more cool, indie artists that I was previously familiar with included here. Overall this is a great mix of music, at a brilliant price, for a worthy cause!

When I saw the deal of the day was a $3 album that provides mosquito nets to families to prevent the spread of malaria, I didn't even think twice about clicking the buy button. After all, even if the album bombed, I supported a good cause with a few bucks.Having said that, I am a fan of a lot of indie music, but also am wary of how weird some of it can be. After buying the album and listening to it all the way through, I am happy to report that the song selection is surprisingly solid. The album has a good variety of tone, pacing and style, and for the most part, the songs are quite enjoyable. #3 was the only one I wasn't a big fan of... and #10 wasn't bad, but just not my style. Besides that, I am very impressed with what they put together! Get this album now, even if the price goes back up, you won't regret it!

Great Mix for a Great Cause,

This is a great mix of unique artists coming together to support a wonderful cause. All the proceeds are donated to Malaria No More - the CD is a steal and it feels great to donate money. Stand out tracks include the "Summer Breeze" cover by Peter Bjorn & John and "Bonfire" by Third Eye Blind.

I downloaded this album after a friend told me about it. Though I had heard of only a few of the artists (Third Eye Blind, Peter Bjorn & John, Youssou N'Dour), I loved ALL the songs, especially "Fantasy Bar" by Juliette Lewis (yes, the actress), "Hello" by Dirty Little Rabbits, and "Pulling on a Line" by Great Lake Swimmers. All in all, it's a great mix of music on my iPod. And it makes me feel good that the money I spent goes directly to Malaria No More and buys a mosquito net for kids in Africa.
