Not only that, according to the authors, this 'wave' began around the beginning of the Renaissance, with ever increasing numbers since then. So, in essence, many of our inspirational people from centuries ago may be counted among the 'trailblazers' cutting through the crusty, frigid Piscean energy of yesterday to bring in this new wave of energy.
On a personal note, this book has answered many questions about why my attitudes and feelings about relationships differ from the traditional view, as well as work, and how we are viewed in the current workplace as 'commodities' rather than truly gifted talented human beings. Not everyone will agree with everything addressed in this book, I did with most if not all. That was amazing, as well as uplifting, because I would never have even known about this book if a friend hadn't told me about it.
Personally, I recommend this book to anyone who is left struggling with why they don't 'fit', and why they feel 'different', because you will realize that you are not alone, and there are valid reasons, as well as answers to many questions asked and yet to be asked. I also wish that this book had been written sooner, and also that I had found it sooner.
This book is a one source and I enjoyed it. It highlights how Indigo adults are more androgynous, more balanced and more egalitarian in their views of themselves and the other sex. I find this to be true.
Jaffe and Davidson's second agenda is to discuss how the Indigo population holds the matrix, as the world ascends into being more spiritual. The more evolved beings or ones who have higher vibration are holding the energy so the rest of us on Earth can catch up, regroup, reconnect our Energy and join Matrix so harmony remains. I appreciate them saying that. This book is great for beginners and again one source. I have found in the last 8 years studying this topic, there are many views, some contradictory.
There is a useful checklist in the back of the book if you are curious to see if you fit this category. You may also try the Feeding and care of Indigo Children, the checklist in the front, written by D. Virtue Phd was how I realized I was Indigo. Many other Indigo adults have done the same.
I recommend having this book as a reference in your office if you are health professional and treat this population and need to discuss issues related to this topic. I am a licensed psychologist and keep such books to show my clients that what I am telling them is out there, mainstream, may be more widespread than they realize. It comes in real handy when I discuss tricky topics like spirituality and the soul.
1- Starts off by mentioning that we need to release the guilt and shame from our bodies... ok.
2- Recognizing soul is separate from the body... ok... wait what? Did you say plastic surgery?
3- "Genetic Engineering Will Extend Our Life Spans and Salve Many Emotional and Mental Sufferings"
Here the horse stumbles on the heaping pile of S and rolls in it for a while. The contents of this section is like a thorough advertisement for plastic surgery. It basically says that even though it seems absurd to "us Indigo Souls" we must accept plastic surgery as a remedy to our traumas and sufferings of our body. If you have a big fat ugly nose, CHANGE IT! Spend hundreds of dollars and change it so you can be happy and your soul will develop and you will enjoy life. A kid has big ears? He is bullied? Aww poor kid, take him to the operating table, flatten his ears and make him happy. Because giving anti-bullying seminars at schools and teaching children to accept themselves is much DAMN work. (Note my sarcastic ranting) Overweight? Go on and eat that greasy hamburger, no need exercising and eating healthy, get a liposuction because I BELIEVE THAT IN THE FUTURE WE WILL HAVE PILLS TO CURE EVERYTHING! :D
Ok sarcastic ranting over.Read more ›
