Indispensable by Monday is nothing short of visionary. Finally, someone has discovered and systematized a method that literally ANY employee can use to capture the attention, appreciation, and loyalty of management. Author Larry Myler is going to be very popular very soon because of the vast number of ordinary people like you and me that he will empower in the workplace.

This book and system have no competition, period. To my knowledge, nobody has ever devised anything like the Indispensable by Monday system. Everybody wins! The employee looks like a hero, and the company significantly increases profits, which can lead to employee promotion and raises. The profit source suggestions starting on page 31 seemed particularly valuable to me.

I recommend this book and the brilliant PPG online tool to everyone I can possibly influence, because they will all have so much to gain from implementing Mr. Myler's system. I even made using the PPG tool an assignment for my Corporate Issues students. I have also given copies of this book to my consulting clients because it substantially boosts their personal and corporate profit potential. I couldn't be more enthusiastic about this system. Kudos to Mr. Myler and the Wiley editorial staff for making this available.

I got to see an early manuscript of this book and was immediately enthusiastic. In a down economy last year when most of our competitors lost 30-50% of their revenues our company grew by 10% as a direct result of practicing the ideas in this book. We didn't have to lay off a single employee because our people were actively cutting costs and adding revenues exactly as the book prescribed. Our employees are not just assets, they're friends--the last thing we wanted to do was lose one in such a tough time to get a job. By teaching and encouraging people to use Indispensable by Monday concepts we not only saved every job in the firm, we added profits and revenues that resulted in the largest end of year bonus distribution in our history. Our employees ARE indispensable because they practice what Myler preaches here. Yours can be, too.

Not bad for a $20 investment.

I bought a copy of this book for everyone in our small company. It is actually a fun and easy read, but it introduces a mindset that every person can follow, and has made our company instantly and dramatically more profitable. Now our employees have the ability to know exactly what to do to make themselves (and our company) more profitable, and it's given them the relief of increasing their job security, too.

The Profit Proposal Generator that goes with this book is really easy to use, and I'm no accountant! (although as a small company owner I'm forced to play one in my business life).

The reviews I've seen on this book so far are right - there a number of business and employment books out there right now, but this one stands out as a definite keeper.

Great book; the concepts outlined helped me rethink how to add real value in the workplace. As a recent college graduate, I was pleased to read a book that helped shed light on what company leaders are (or should be) looking for in new hires. This explanation prompted me to totally revamp my resume. I feel confident the book's principal focus on always adding value helped me land the job I have today. Thanks to the author, I speak up when profits are on the line, and I will continue to search for and accurately share value-adding proposals in the future.

This tough economy has pushed many people to the edge and over. It's understandable when these threats cause us to respond defensively, looking for villains. However, as we play "ain't it awful" and look for villains, our opportunities slip away from us. We become the bitter nay-sayer that none of us likes as a colleague, co-worker, or employee.

This book talks us back from the edge by revealing several very simple and powerful strategies for regaining control. The secret is in the title: We need to make ourselves indespensible. And the rest of the book shows us how.

I'm thrilled to see Larry Myler's book come out after not having seen Larry for several years. The last time I worked with Larry we were consulting with a global mining firm. It is nice to see how Larry encapsulated his business accumen in a book that teaches employees how to add financial value to their organization.

Indispensable by Monday is a pragmatic, non-theoretical, real-world approach to productivity in the work place. It's a must-read for managers and job seekers looking to prove their worth via quantifiable objectives. Cash is king in any organization and the principles found here can turn any department of any organization into a cash-generating profit center. Certainly a worthy read and time well spent for anyone striving for professional success in a down (or up) economy.

The sweeping forces of the recession are incomprehensible and leave most of us feeling powerless. "Indispensable" is a profound look at how an individual can retake control of his career and his life. I was inspired by the specific strategies that enable initiative, hope and results. This book is the antidote to feeling powerless and helpless. I strongly recommend it as a truly indispensable read.

This book is a "must have" for any serious business professional. Everyone can become a better employee. Honestly, it doesn't matter where you are or who you're working for. I purchased this book on a whim one day, but I will use the lessons and principles discussed in this book during my current college employment as well as in the future when I start my career, probably to the dismay of my competitors. I think this book is a must-read. Only those who do not want to become indispensible to their company should not read this book.
