Superb reference for home water systems.,

This review is from: Planning for an Individual Water System (Paperback)
If you are looking for a book that will enable you to build your own water system, or be sure you are getting exactly what you want from the people who are installing it for you, YOU NEED THIS BOOK!. Whether you are supplying a one room vacation cottage or a large farm, all the information you require is here. The illustrations are clearly drawn and labeled, the charts are concise and easy to follow, and every aspect is covered, from types of wells, pumps, pipes, wires and controls to how it all goes together to meet your needs.
I truly have never seen a manual that has explained what you have to know as clearly and completely as this one. It will easily save you ten times it's cost, if not much more, in dollars and dissatisfaction.

Detailed but not "Dry",

This is an amazingly detailed, comprehensive, but easy to use reference. Lots of pertinent diagrams, illustrations and schematics all in color. Charts and tables. Focus is primarily on a well/pump/storage system with attention to underlying concepts. Although originally published in 1955 (note, how to protect your water system from radioactive fallout) the information is entirely current. I have been checking this out of the local library and slowly wearing it out. If I can find two copies I will keep one and donate one.
