My ears are sensitive to non-gold earrings, and I wanted some inexpensive everyday earrings with gold posts. I decided to go with this set, at about fifteen dollars a pair, rather than a single set for about twice that much. I made the right choice for me. These are very nice earrings, boxed individually, so storage (and/or sharing) is easy.

I'm metric-challenged, and was unsure how large they would look on my ear. Each stone is about an eighth of an inch wide, which is much bigger than it sounds. They are neither tiny, pinpoint stones nor overpowering ones. I'd estimate a shade bigger than the original gold balls I got when my ears were pierced (a long! time ago).

I do wish the colors were darker. In particular, the amethyst (purple), peridot (green) and citrine (yellow) stones are quite light. The amethyst is much lighter than shown in the picture.

I debated for quite a while before getting these. Earrings are one of the few things I would have rather have seen in person before purchasing. But I couldn't find anything in stores to match the quality and price. I'm glad I got them.
