This review is from: Indonesian Banda: Colonialism and its aftermath in the Nutmeg Islands (Hardcover)
This book is probably as comprehensive as one could hope to find about the history of an area as remote today as Banda.
Despite the wealth of information it contains it also manages to be an enjoyable read.
If only it was more readily available it would surely be a more popular read, but as it is, it will only be accessible to a lucky few.
