Very instructive with short description,
This review is from: Indonesian Folk Motifs (Clip Art (Dover)) (Paperback)
Over 200 authentic motifs from Java, Bali, Irian Jaya, and etc., including Batik, Ikat, Wayang Kulit (shadow puppet), Topeng (masks) designs. Illustrations are all black and white, copyright-free. Each motif has a short description, such as "Rakshasa head gold earring motif, Java, 13th- 16th centuries." Usually this descriptions are quite short, just tells you where or what, still it's informative enough to show you the name of familiar motifs.
