I found one of these at a radioshack on sale for $30 and decided to try a whack at it. This was my first experience flying indoors, so I really didn't know what to expect. When first pulled from the box, the avion seems REALLY fragile and feather-light, a whopping 8.4 grams according to the manual. It was a nice suprise to find that it used infra-red instead of radio frequecies for control and only requires 4 AA batteries. After the initial charging, it takes about 20 minutes exact for a full charge and runs for an astounding 10 minutes, a great run-time for something that small. As far as controllability, it couldn't have been nicer or easier. The controller has a proportional throttle stick that stays in the position you leave it in, and nicer yet, a proportional rudder! With simple and effective controls like these, even I could get the hang of flying this thing within 4-5 flights/crashes. By default, it is easier to start off flying in a room in a left hand circle, as you can easily over steer it to the right, resulting in a tight and quickly descending spiral. It takes a little bit more time to take it out of the right-hand spiral than it would a left-hand turn, but it is still very manageable with very little to no practice. This plane is extremely slow flying and agile, doing figure-8's easily in a 15'x16' living room and maneuvering from room to room with ease. The plane is also suprisingly durable, enduring way more crashes than it should from my bad flying skills. It would still be a good idea to keep the box for transport in a car or such-like, as it would be very easy to break outside of mid-air collisions with walls and furniture. All in all, if you treat it reasonably well and don't downright act stupid with it, the plane is very durable, satisfying and fun to fly for anyone who wants to try it. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

I received this order shortly after Christmas and the first thing I noticed about it was that it was very light!
when I opened the box it contained a box in good condition. I took out the plane, charged it, and started to take a few minutes of flight with it.At first it was very difficult to control the plane, but later in the day, I started to get the hang of it. It is a very stable plane. I have crashed it probably hundreds of times and it's still holing up. Eventually the propellor fell of, but with a bit of glue, it was back in the air. I would recommend this plane to anyone around the age of 10 and who likes things that fly.
