Review

High Times Magazine, June, 1983 Indoor Marijuana Horticulture, known as the indoor bible has everything an indoor grower could want to know about organic & hydroponic gardening, building a grow room, seed selection, cloning, grow lights, growing techniques, problem solving, harvesting and legal angles. The garden calendar and weekly checklist and three case studies are the frosting on the bud. "If the grower can only have one book, this the book." -- High Times Magazine, June, 1983

I tell everybody to buy Jorge's book, you know, the one with the light bulb on the front. It is the best book. This book is easy to read and it has everything. It was the first book in Dutch too. Every grower in the Netherlands knows this book. -- Arjian - Owner, The Greenhouse, Amsterdam, Holland

If you could only buy one book on indoor marijuana cultivation, this is the one. Growers call Indoor Marijuana Horticulture "The Indoor Bible" because it works. I have been a successful grower for 15 years . . . This is the only book I recommend. -- Anonymous Grower - 1998

Jorge has done a wonderful service for our seed customers to write this book. I know this book for many many years. All Dutch grower's know it because it is the book that taught them to grow. Sensi Seeds sells more of this book than any other. -- Ben Dronkers - Sensi Seeds, Amsterdam, Holland

People stand in line when Jorge comes to the Museum. They want him to sign copies of his book. We sell many copies in Dutch, German and English. This is the best book. If you want to know how indoor growers do it, you got to have this book! -- Albert - Manager, Marihuana, Hash Museum, Amsterdam, Holland

From the Publisher

Indoor Marijuana Horticulture has been very very good to us! The reason: readers love it! This book was a runaway bestseller from the moment it hit the streets. In fact, I remember the printer complaining that two cartons diasppeared before the book could be shipped.

Jorge continues to write more books. Please check them out . . . Marijuana Indoors: Five Easy Gardens: and Marijuana Outdoors: Guerilla Growing

5.0 out of 5 stars Indoor Marijuana horticulture, October 18, 2001
By A Customer
This book just came off the presses in Sept. It is the absolute best book on indoor growing I have ever seen. It has everything you could possibly want to know. The author traveled all over the world to talk to the best growers everywhere. The parts I liked best include the new information on lighting and nutrients. He even has exact color photos and drawings of each nutreint problem. It is also packed with right on info about each nutrient. The info on insects and fungi is phenomonal. It solved all my problems. All the newest information on lighting too.

If you want to grow lots of dope, this is the book! The hydroponics chapter is right on. I have been reading Jorge's articles in High Times and using his book. I sent my two kids through college with the proceeds. Thanks.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the heavy price tag, August 31, 2004
This is a two star read for a few reasons. You might not know that it is from the eighties when this book first came out with some updates. The author does not cover any fluorescent lights at all which I think is crazy because these are important for young seedlings and clones. The hydroponics designs are from old nineteen seventies systems that no one uses any more and neither do I. The author says that clones degrade the more you take clones from a clone and then builds a breeding section around this mistake. The nutrient feeding techniques are sometimes untested. The author actually reprints the same mistake that marijuana book author Ed Rosenthal made for solving Mg problems. Do not use the Mg solver. It usually causes lock out and also over feeds them. Only one harvesting method is given out of a possible three or four that you could do. The problem solving plant nutrient problem pictures are interesting to look at in the book and probably the reason to get this book, but do not solve the problem just by identification using these illustrations. You would do better to pay attention to your feeding schedule and nutrient content. Mistakes can be forgiven but this update is not an improvement on the previous book. The shabby design gives the impression that it was done quickly and cheaply. The photographs are not bad but far from quality. There are frequent spelling mistakes and a lot of noise between the pages that brings down the quality of this read considerably. You would do better to make sure that you read up on other books if you decide to try this one out. It will be interesting to keep a copy of this one around just to compare it to the next update because this author needs to change quite an awful lot of the material here. This is a poor update that strongly needs revision.
