Inductors and Transformers for Power Electronics,
By
This review is from: Inductors and Transformers for Power Electronics (Hardcover)
This text is an excellant overview of transformer design. It goes into specific step by step example/tutorial as to how to design one. Useful for switcher supplies, inverters, etc. It also has several chapters on the detailed theory behind the example. Transformer measurements to determine mutual inductance, coupling coef., etc. are also explained...useful for input into a Spice model.

This book doesn't have any info I couldn't get from wikipedia or is way beyond necessary for any design of inductors and transformers. It might be worth 39$ but its nowhere near worth the 106$ I paid. All of the useful info is in another much cheaper and better organized book I already have for switching power supply's. I will be returning it.
