This is one of several booklets written by Frs. Rumble and Carty -- the famous Radio Replies priests who explained the Catholic faith on radio in America and Australia from the 1930's through the 1950's.
Over the booklet's 32 pages, Rumble and Carty answer 44 of the most common questions about, and objections to, Indulgences. The answers are well written, concise, although often full of details and references (especially to scripture), and loaded with common sense. If you are confused about what Indulgences are (and aren't) or have heard something about Indulgences from Protestants attacking the Catholic faith and want to know the truth, or want to know what exactly happened with Martin Luther and Johann Tetzel over indulgences, then buy this little booklet! It packs a great deal of information into a small number of pages. Some of the things revealed about Luther are shocking! |
